Xandra Pohl Reveals Her Two Main Goals for D.J. Career

2025 was another big year for Xandra Pohl. The 25-year-old DJ/influencer appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, played countless shows at major venues around the world, was named to the Forbes Top Creators list and released another new single.

It will be tough to top all of that in 2026, but Xandra is going to give it her best shot.

“2026, I like to call it my grind year, in a way,” she told Men’s Journal. “I’m super excited because after touring for two years and I’ve released some music, I’m now, just in the past couple of months, really figuring out my sound and who I want to be as an artist. So there’s so much music on the way. I’ve been in the studio grinding. I have so many cool shows on the way. It’s going to be literally me grinding all year. I’m probably going to get less sleep than I already get.”

Xandra has one major destination in mind — for 2027

While she has plenty of goals for the next 12 months, there is one place Xandra still wants to cross off her performance list. She’s going to have to wait until next year to do it though.

“I have two goals on my vision board,” she explained. “I would love to play Coachella 2027. Everything I’m doing in the next year is to get to Coachella 2027, so I’m going to manifest that by saying that out loud. Also, playing main stage at Ultra here in Miami, because that was one of the first solely electronic music festivals that I went to.”

The Coachella lineup for 2026 was announced back in September, so Xandra will have to wait another eight months or so to see if that dream will be realized.

For now, it’s all about ‘The U’

This weekend, Xandra is back in Miami, her home base. A University of Miami alum, she performed Saturday night at the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live concert in Miami Beach in advance of Monday’s national championship game featuring the Hurricanes and the University of Indiana.

“The U” is on college football’s biggest stage for the first time in over two decades, and Xandra not only has the opportunity to see it up close, but also have her own big stage moment as the opening act of an event that also featured John Summit and Calvin Harris.

“When I got asked to do the show, I was like ‘Oh my gosh, that would be amazing,'” she explained. “I’m the biggest Ohio State fan, and I went to the University of Miami, so I was really, really praying one of those teams would make it. When Miami ended up making it to the final, I was like ‘Wow, what a full circle moment, to be able to play in Miami on the beach in South Beach, and then be able to root for my team.'”

It was a little awkward for Xandra to get to this point though, as she had to live through an Ohio State-Miami matchup in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal at the Cotton Bowl.

“It was very tough. I was going back and forth,” she admitted. “I love Ohio State and I love U-Miami, so I really felt like I had to choose between my children.”

Now, there’s no choice to make. It’s all about “The U.”

“I’m just putting all my eggs in this basket of ‘Go ‘Canes’ and if they lose, I’m just not going to believe it,” Xandra said.
