The viral TikTok sound comes from Shrek Forever After, and it gives a backstory to the ogres in Far Far Away. The previous films had of course been centralised on the relationship between Shrek and Fiona. Like the other films, Shrek Forever After has an absolutely stacked cast with impressive filmographies, both before and after their performance in Shrek.
Here’s who’s behind the viral sound
Let’s start with Princess Fiona. Fiona is played by Cameron Diaz, best known for playing Amanda in The Holiday, Natalie, one of the Charlie’s Angels, and Mary Jensen in There’s Something About Mary. Cameron has played Fiona in every Shrek film, and is set to reprise her role in the upcoming Shrek Five film.
And oh Cookie, bless your little cotton socks. Cookie is played by an actor whose voice you’ve heard in so many places, but you’ve probably never realised that it’s him. Craig Robinson most notably played Darryl Philbin in the US version of The Office, but he’s also played roles such as Doug Judy in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Levar Brown in the Cleaveland Show, and most recently, Sheriff Hunter in the Netflix Romcom Hot Frosty.
Here’s the trend, explained
Essentially, people are using the sound to talk about something they can’t live without. However, there seems to be a 50/50 split between who is the one being praised in the TikTok; 50 per cent of them are wholesome and refer to friends, food, or common girlhood experiences and the other 50 per cent strangely seem to be about drugs.

Either way, apparently people are cutting the audio off before the best part, claims this TikTok user. I’d have to agree, Cookie’s sass makes it all the funnier, especially when you consider he’s talking to royalty. What an icon.
