This month starts of strong with Venus entering Gemini on July 4, adding a creative and exciting side to your love life at the same time as Neptune Retrograde begins, leading you to question your intuition.
Try not to let this transit get the better of you though, as Uranus moving into Gemini for the first time since 1949 on July 7 will bring about a major wake-up call.
Then, the Capricorn Full Moon on July 10 gets you feeling galvanised with a renewed sense of ambition, meaning even Mercury Retrograde (from July 18) can’t slow you down.
Ahead, you’ll find your star sign’s tarot horoscope for the month of July 2025, with three tarot cards drawn for each sign and their meaning for you explained.
Aries
March 21 to April 20

Tarot cards for Aries for July: Nine of Coins, Ten of Wands, Strength
Meaning: No rush, Aries, and no pressure. You’re doing great, it’s going well, and you’re on the right track, so just keep on going. In fact, maybe have a little rest this July, and just smell the flowers and enjoy the sunshine.
The Ten of Wands is like a little ‘sick note’ from the Universe letting you off the hook for whatever is weighing you down. Less is more. Streamline the chores. Remove the pressure.
Strength and the Nine of Coins are like a major round of applause for being on track, in good company, living well, and building the right foundations. You’re doing great! So let yourself take a break and just simply be. July is a high time. Enjoy your precious life.

Taurus
April 21 to May 21

Tarot cards for Taurus for July: Page of Cups, Knight of Swords, Nine of Wands
Meaning: Bring a ‘whole self’ approach to the problems in front of you, Taurus, rather than a one-trick pony kind of vibe. Mix it up, be inventive, seek contrast, keep them guessing, be a creature of surprise vs predictability.
The Nine of Wands sees you in a troubleshooting, problem-solving mood. You’re seeking to squash all of the petty, annoying, blocking stuff that has plagued you in 2025. Good!
The Page of Cups demands creativity, innovation, a softly softly approach, an appeal to people’s better nature and good will. But the Knight of Swords is more direct, assertive, demanding, and challenging. So let both of these characters work for you, let both of them tackle the issues ahead. It’s in their combined efforts that true progress and resolution will be found. And you might actually enjoy this! Make life easier, solve your issues, feel stronger.

Gemini
May 22 to June 21

Tarot cards for Gemini for July: The High Priestess, Two of Wands, The Moon
Meaning: A spiritual awakening lies in store for you this July and Gemini season, my friend! Are you ready? I think you are, it’s been brewing for a while (heightened sensitivities, feeling like you’ve outgrown old habits, and a new interest in esoteric topics).
The High Priestess and The Moon literally open your third eye and crown chakra, wide open, to receive all of the psychic input and intel. You now not only operate on an Earthly plane but a cosmic one too, so your capacity for information is vast and deep. Your Mercury ruler is pleased because your sign is all about information and intelligence, and now you have access to even more.
So, how to cope with this? The Two of Wands asks you to focus. Maybe pick one question, theme, or practice at a time and zoom in there. Don’t move on until you feel you’ve achieved something, felt differently, or untapped new knowledge. This is a true journey of discovery.

Cancer
June 22 to July 23

Tarot cards for Cancer for July: The Hanged Man, Eight of Coins, Three of Wands
Meaning: A change of outlook or perspective is going to make a huge difference to you this July and Cancer season. The Hanged Man reveals you have reached a block, a limbo status, a plateau in something you’ve worked hard for. Things aren’t progressing, and all of your efforts have not made a jot of difference.
So, surrender to it. Pause. Stop trying. Let it be what it is without your force. The Three of Wands swoops in with a chance encounter or conversation that sheds new light on this old issue, and you have a brainwave! It’s not an old idea dressed in new clothes, it’s a brand new perspective.
When it emerges, get to it! The Eight of Coins shows this is the key that will unlock the door and let you progress unfettered. New thinking = new direction.

Leo
July 24 to August 23

Tarot cards for Leo for July: The Sun, Two of Cups, Knight of Coins
Meaning: A little bit of effort in your love life or closest friendship will go a long, long way this July, Leo! The Sun is one of your cards in the tarot deck and its most positive omen – it spreads joy, love, passion, success, and prosperity all over whatever you’re most focused on, and the Two of Cups hints that your object of attention is love.
Be it friendship or romance, you want the best for your relationship landscape and you shall have it! If you’re single, then a trip or outing will bring you into the gaze of a wonderful Leo, Capricorn, Taurus or Virgo. If you’re attached then, the Knight of Coins advises a demonstration of trust, commitment, and loyalty, to prove your steadfast intent, and this will unlock them sharing their true feelings too.
Relationships are often deepened by sharing vulnerability and being supported, and this will be the case here.

Virgo
August 24 to September 23

Tarot cards for Virgo for July: Queen of Cups, The Magician, Page of Coins
Meaning: An extremely creative and imaginative July lies in store for you. The Magician is aligned with Mercury (your own planetary ruler), so you are feeling very attuned to its energy – invention, communication, creativity, education.
You are keen to make more of your talents, maybe even make a living with them, and the Page of Coins reinforces this. This Page is the tarot’s student and seeks to learn in order to earn, because knowledge is power, and power has value.
The Queen of Cups asks you to follow your instincts here because whatever flows from your imagination might not immediately look career-related… but that will come in time. It starts as an interest, a spark of inspiration, a fascinating flight of fancy. Follow it and see where it goes, then learn as much as you can about it. The way that it helps you make money or boost your way of making a living will be revealed in time.
For now, just enjoy it.

Libra
September 24 to October 23

Tarot cards for Libra for July: Justice, Eight of Cups, Seven of Wands
Meaning: Justice is your sign’s tarot card so its presence feels like a good omen for July. Things will go your way. Wrongs will be righted, problems solved, injustices rebalanced, and vindications offered for previous grievances. Take it all in good grace. Don’t gloat or rub anyone’s nose in it. Move on.
The Eight of Cups asks you to notice a project, role or relationship in your realm which isn’t turning out as you hoped. Just let it go, walk away, stop investing your precious time and energy and see what happens.
The cards predict, with the competitive and ambitious Seven of Wands, that something far, far better will emerge as soon as you turn away from it. And maybe that is your true good karma for the earlier Justice card, maybe that is your reward for being proven right and doing the right thing. So, don’t hold on to fading hopes. Let them go. Something great is just around the corner.

Scorpio
October 24 to November 22

Tarot cards for Scorpio for July: King of Coins, Two of Coins, Ace of Swords
Meaning: This trio of cards gives off a deal-making kind of vibe. Are you hustling? Are you negotiating? Are you applying or upgrading or promoting or pitching something? The Ace of Swords brings you all of the right words. So be visible and be seen because you will know exactly what to say and how to say it when the moment comes around.
The King of Coins brings you riches, rewards, stamina, and determination. You’ll be picking up the prizes because you’re worthy and are ready to prove it. You are stronger and tougher and more capable than the others, and this will shine through.
And the Two of Coins is a nudge that, in being demanding and proactive, you will open even more doors than you realise! People will be impressed with your demeanour and want to offer you more than what you came for. This is your month, Scorpio, go get some!

Sagittarius
November 23 to December 21

Tarot cards for Sagittarius for July: King of Swords, Three of Swords, The Chariot
Meaning: You are outgrowing someplace, something or someone. And you’re ready to make a move. And you should make a move because the Three of Swords reveals that, if you don’t you will end up hurting yourself or someone else because you don’t want to be there anymore.
Cut ties in a timely and kind fashion. Don’t burn your bridges… just gently close them off. The King of Swords asks you to plan this, make a strategy, create tactics that will carry you through safely and peacefully. Use logic and intellect vs emotion and instinct. Work out the best route and take it.
The Chariot sees you literally moving – this could be linked to home or location or position. You are leaving something behind in order to pursue something better. The sooner, cleaner, and clearer you do this, the better. Do it before it sours.

Capricorn
December 22 to January 21

Tarot cards for Capricorn for July: The Empress, The Fool, Temperance
Meaning: A trio of major arcana cards always spells major change and powerful unseen forces at work in your life, guiding you towards your true pathway. So, tune in, use your intuition, notice the signs.
In this case, I think a new relationship, a really important one, is on the cards. Could be with an Aquarius, Sagittarius, Libra or Taurus. This could be a friendship, lover, or even a new child or family member, but it is a relationship of deep love and loyalty, as shown by The Empress. The Fool reveals it’s a new relationship, a bolt out of the blue, unexpected but welcome. Potentially some kind of travel or technology is at play in the encounter.
Temperance shows this relationship settles you down, helps you feel grounded and safe, and quickly becomes a stable and fundamental part of your wider life. Some relationships scar us, some heal us, but this one is here to be the making of you. Keep an open mind and see who turns up…

Aquarius
January 22 to February 19

Tarot cards for Aquarius for July: Five of Coins, Three of Wands, Nine of Coins
Meaning: Something you lost or regretted comes around again as a second chance – and, this time, you’re all in. A reconciliation or recovery is possible, and you are going to make it happen.
The Five of Coins shows the loss or regret you still ruminate about (this could be as long as five years ago). And this July you find yourself talking about it to someone. Then, the Three of Wands brings about a series of surprising (though I’ve somewhat spoilt that here) and unexpected events that lead you right back to that loss or regret in a positive way. You can make it right, you can rekindle, you can replace or restore.
And you decide to! The Nine of Coins is a round of applause for doing this because it’s the right move, the right timing, and this second chance is going to lead to great joy and prosperity. Be brave and retrieve what was lost.

Pisces
February 20 to March 20

Tarot cards for Pisces for July: Page of Wands, Six of Cups, The Star
Meaning: Wow, if ever a trio of cards spelled out an invitation back to the magic of childhood then it’s these three!
The Page of Wands is that playful and chaotic energy of just doing whatever is right in front of you in the moment, happily and fully immersed in it. The Six of Cups is nostalgia and affectionate memories, a beautiful meander down Memory Lane. And The Star is wishful magic, daydreaming of what you most desire, almost like a child thinking of what they want to be ‘when they grow up’.
So… go back to the beginning. What were you like as a kid? What hopes and dreams did you harbour? What games and creativity did you enjoy? What kind of friendships? And have you wandered far from those core things? Have you lost sight of your true self in the process of ‘adulting’? Maybe, just maybe. And July is wonderful time to return to this inner child self and rekindle whatever has been lost or forgotten.
