Zac Brown Set To Headline Major Upcoming Benefit Concert

Country music star Zac Brown has been announced as the headlining act for the inaugural “Proud to Honor: Celebrating America’s Heroes” concert, set for next Friday in Nashville, Tennessee.

Put together by Ford Motor Company, Blue Star Families and TikTok in honor of Veterans Day, the show will serve as a benefit event for current service members and veterans and their families. In addition to Brown, “Proud to Honor” will feature performances by  Breland, Lanie Gardner, Mickey Guyton, Ne-Yo and the War and Treaty.

“Supporting our service members and their families has always been close to my heart,” said Brown in a statement. “The values behind Proud to Honor – lifting up organizations that make a real difference and giving back to those who’ve given so much – mean a lot to me. Music has the power to heal, connect, and remind us what truly matters, and I’m proud to be part of this modern celebration of our military and community.”

Held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, “Proud to Honor: Celebrating America’s Heroes” will get underway at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 7. The show will also be livestreamed on TikTok, with guest appearances by several popular content creators

“Designed to be social-first, TikTok creators will be promoting and attending the event, bringing unparalleled reach and awareness for the Veterans Service Organizations benefiting from funds raised during the event,” said the concert’s official website.

Brown a proud military supporter

While Brown, 47, has never served in any branches of the United States military, the “Chicken Fried” singer has made it a point to honor service members and veterans throughout his music career.

Brown has kept a tradition of meeting veterans before each of his shows and has also done extensive work with Hope for the Warriors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing assistance to service members who were wounded in battle and their families.

On Memorial Day 2025, Brown was honored at the American Music Awards, where he was presented with the Veterans Voice Award for his “unwavering support to the veteran community.”

“They’re such incredible people,” Brown told Fox News Digital. “Their stories are so inspiring, and getting to bring them up on stage and share just a moment of gratitude with them for that entire crowd, and everyone in the crowd cheering them on and just reminding them that all of their sacrifices are appreciated. I have lots of friends that are in the military. I’ve lived with a lot of them over the years, and they’re just really, truly incredible people. They have the ultimate servant’s heart.”
