With its more than five thousand free activities, the XXV Zócalo International Book Fair brought together more than 1.3 million attendees in its nine days of activities.
In its 25th edition, the International Book Fair offered more than a thousand activities in its forums, including the presence of national and international figures such as Elena Poniatowska, Juan Carlos Monedero, Inna Afigenova, Cristina Fallarás, Pilar del Río, Laura Esquivel y Eduardo Matos Moctezumaamong others.

One of the most celebrated axes of this edition was the musical programming, which turned the Zócalo into a large open stage. Among the most notable concerts were acts such as La Tremenda Korte, Los Músicos de José, Ritmo Nacional Jazz Orchestra, Los Nakos, Rafael Catana y Perikles, Olson Joseph, Heldealla y Rabid Toywho filled the square with rhythm, poetry and collective energy.
Children and youth also found their space with story-telling, presentations of illustrated books and recreational activities in the tent “Community Playgrounds“, strengthening the commitment to bring the written word closer to new generations.
